Championing Higher Education
As the collective voice for the 100-plus independent colleges and universities throughout New York State, the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities in New York (“CICU”) is tasked to advocate for the needs for both small, private liberal arts institutions and large, private research universities that exists within the borders of the Empire State.
CICU represents more than forty percent of all higher education students in New York State, with those students learning from some of the most renowned institutions of learning in the world.
Relentless was hired by CICU to handle public relations and advertising efforts to promote CICU’s legislative agenda both within New York State and nationally. Our efforts have yielded greater attention for their priorities as well as increased name recognition for its president, Lola W. Brabham, within the higher education sector through earned media.
Further, Relentless was engaged by CICU to redo its website, in which the agency’s work led to it being award-winning.
