Chief of Staff

Job Description:

Relentless is seeking a highly strategic and detail-oriented Chief of Staff to play a pivotal role in our executive team. This individual will act as a right hand to the Partners, assisting in the organization and execution of strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment across all company operations. The Chief of Staff will oversee critical projects, manage executive priorities, and act as a liaison among staff, executives, and stakeholders to drive the mission and objectives of Relentless.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Partners, providing strategic insights and operational support.
  • Facilitate and streamline executive communication, acting as a point of contact between top management and employees or other stakeholders.
  • Manage the organization’s agenda, ensuring the alignment of strategic priorities with daily operations.
  • Oversee strategic projects and initiatives from development through successful execution.
  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
  • Enhance the efficiency of the Partners’ office by coordinating with various departments and ensuring a cohesive organizational culture.
  • Analyze internal processes and recommend and implement procedural or policy changes to improve operations.
  • Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the executive team to facilitate efficient decision making.
  • Plan, coordinate, and ensure the Partners’ schedule is followed and respected, providing a “gatekeeper” and “gateway” role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a business management role, with a proven track record of effective leadership and an operational command of the business.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners, and donors.
  • Expertise in organizational development, team building, and performance management.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forward thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
