Relentless establishes scholarship with UAlbany’s Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy

Relentless is proud to have established the Bonilla Fazio Relentless Scholarship in support of the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy‘s 75th anniversary taking place later this year. Relentless provided a gift of $25,000 to the University at Albany Foundation to launch the program, in which the scholarship is named after both of the firm’s co-founders Joe Bonilla and Rich Fazio

The Bonilla Fazio Relentless Scholarship was created to help non-traditional learners who are completing undergraduate or graduate degree work to achieve academic success with less of a financial burden. The scholarship honors the hard-earned legacy of both of our agency’s founders’ parents and grandparents who sought to finish their undergraduate and graduate degree work while still working.

“We’re fortunate to be able to establish this scholarship – especially as part of not only Rockefeller’s 75th anniversary, but also our firm’s 10 year anniversary,” said Joe Bonilla, managing partner of Relentless. “I watched first-hand my mom finish her undergraduate and law degrees while I was growing up, all while working – just like her own mother did for her own undergraduate and graduate degrees. Most importantly, working people need every bit of help to reduce the financial burden of being able to finish a degree with as minimal of ‘comet-tail’ financial hit after graduation.”

Both Joe and Rich are alumni of the University at Albany, with Joe a graduate from Rockefeller’s renowned public policy program and Rich for sociology.
